Each of the winning teams and individuals set course records in the inaugural year of the Iron Duck Relay. In one of the most exciting duels of the day, the winning team: Quackaholics overtook the winning individual: Willie Hatfield in the last 100 meters of the event! The inaugural Iron Duck Multisport Relay took place under threatening skies on the afternoon of September 28th in and around Alton Baker Park in Eugene, OR. Four teams and three individuals took on the seven leg 14 mile course. Heavy rains preceded the event and resumed afterwards, but the participants were treated to fair weather as they traversed Alton Baker, Skinner Butte, and Maurie Jacobs parks, as well as the Willamette River, by foot, bicycle, kayak, and SUP! Congratulations to all finishers of the inaugural Iron Duck Relay!
